THIS week the Cornish Times is running a competition in which two readers can each win a pair of tickets to The Magic of the Beatles show at Sterts Theatre, at Upton Cross, near Liskeard.

The show is being staged at 7.30pm on Saturday, August 15, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the famous band’s movie and album both entitled Help! and along the way the producers are hoping to to create an authoritative Beatles top ten.
