Young people can have designs on a brand new Acer tablet with this week’s Cornish Times.

Two prizes of £99 Acer Iconia One seven-inch Android tablets can be won in our Christmas art competition.

We’re asking school children to draw or paint an image depicting Christmas - perhaps a snow scene, a Christmas tree, a Nativity scene, some presents or something completely different.

There’ll be a tablet prize for the best entry from primary school pupils, and another for the image judged to be the best secondary school entry.

All you have to do is send the drawing or painting to: Cornish Times Tablet Competition, Cornish Times, The Tindle Suite, Webb’s House, The Parade, Liskeard, Cornwall PL14 6AH. Please write your name, age, address, school and telephone number on the back of your art work, as well as the signature of a parent, guardian or teacher.

The deadline for entries is 9am on Wednesday, December 14. 

The competition will be judged by Cornish Times staff and we hope to feature some of the best pieces of art work in the Cornish Times.

The winners must be willing to take part in publicity pictures which will be published in the paper and on the Cornish Times website.

Our usual competition rules apply and the editor’s decision is final.
