AN acclaimed wildlife artist will be the star of an exhibition at Stuart House in Liskeard next month. Carl Brenders' paintings and prints of wildlife are usually showing at the John Southern Gallery at Dobwalls Theme Park, but will be at Stuart House for the exhibition, which opens on February 20. Local artist Jo March will also be showcasing her exhibits from February 6 to 18. Her interesting paintings are much in demand, and a private viewing will take place on Sunday, February 5. Artists are invited to exhibit in Stuart House's three open art exhibitions, starting with a themed exhibition on Brunel, starting on the anniversary of his birth, April 9. There will be a rare chance to see Paul Riley's paintings in August, when he will be demonstrating his skills to an audience. A competition will be open to the public later in the year, with classes for different media and a special class for young painters.
