The long-term capital investment programme to secure Cornwall’s future economic growth, the purchase of homes to be used as emergency accommodation, future financing of the Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferry, the future of the Ganges, an historic building in Penzance, and the development at Threemilestone are all on the agenda for this week’s full council meeting at New County Hall.
In addition, two motions have been included for debate. Cllr Dominic Fairman has proposed a motion on the urgency of climate change and Cllr Jesse Foot has proposed a motion urging support for a Cornish tickbox on the 2021 census.
The full council meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 22, at 10.30am.
Members of the public are welcome to attend full council meeting in person or watch live via a webcast on the council’s website.
