Looe lifeboat crew benefited from the generosity of friends and relations celebrating the wedding of Paul and Kim Adams at the weekend. Paul and Kim, who already have their own home in Pelynt, decided that rather than receive wedding gifts, they would like local lifeboats to benefit from their special day. An RNLI collection bucket was passed around at their reception and Kim and Paul were thrilled later to find that £515 had been donated by the generosity of their families and friends. Looe branch RNLI treasurer Brian Galipeau said: 'Kim's face was a picture when we opened the bucket and she saw how much had been raised for the lifeboats. 'We will make sure that it will all be credited to the Looe lifeboat fund to support our local crews.'
