Police are warning against travel today as the Met Office issues a Red (extreme) weather warning for parts of the South West.

Very strong winds and snow leading to blizzard conditions are forecast for later today, with the worst hit areas likely to be in Devon.

An Amber (be prepared) warning is in place over South East Cornwall, with difficult driving conditions,long delays and cancellation of public transport likely.
