Today (Friday) will feel cooler with strong westerly winds. Outbreaks of rain are most likely in the east of the county, with some sunny spells across the whole region. Cornwall will be spared the worst of Storm Abigail (the first storm to be officially named by the Met Office) but it will be windy, with the sea state moderate to the north and rough to the south. Temperatures will reach around 11C.
