BECAUSE of the poor weather Looe’s Christmas weekend activities will now all take place in East Looe only.

The main changes are the Christmas market (all weekend) will now be held on the Fish Market.

Santa will be arriving to East Looe RNLI at the earlier time of 2pm on Saturday and his grotto will be in the harbour office.

Tomorrow's (Friday) lantern parade and lights up event is still set to go ahead at 6.30pm, but all participants should assemble at the Globe pub (or in case of high winds at the entrance to Buller car park). The procession will gather at the Fish Market for carol singing and the switching on of the lights.

There will be no craft market on Sunday, but the Cider and Ale Festival will go ahead on Sunday on the Fish Market in East Looe.
