A yellow ’be aware’ severe weather warning for ice remains in place for most of Cornwall.

The Met Office warns that following earlier spells of rain and snow, icy patches are likely on untreated surfaces.

Driving conditions may be difficult and there is a risk of slips and falls on icy surfaces.

The weather is due to become milder as the weekend progresses.
