FUN, excitement and nostalgia for all the family is promised as Great Trethew holds its first vintage rally this bank holiday weekend.

Volunteers have been working around the clock to ensure that the event is a success.

Steam and vintage vehicles are at the heart of the show, but there will also be live bands and entertainment, a fun dog show, craft and traditional skills demonstrations, ploughing with horses, and tractor pulling to draw in the crowds.

Pony rides, a bouncy castle, reptiles and raptors and old fairground rides are aimed at younger members of the family.

A free bus service will be laid on between Liskeard and the show ground near Horningtops on the Saturday.

This will run from 9am and will stop at Rapson’s car park, The Parade, Addington and Charter Way. The Great Trethew Rally will be on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. August 26, 27 and 28.
