A Saltash team vicar is standing down after five years due to ill health.
The Reverend Josephine Lobb ministers in St Nicholas and St Faith, St Stephen by Saltash, Landrake, St Erney and Botus Fleming parishes.
A letter from the Rev Lobb announcing that her time as team vicar would end in July was read out in St Nicholas and St Faith Church on Sunday morning by the priest in charge, the Rev Cathy Sigrist.
Rev Lobb was ordained Deacon in 1996 in Truro Cathedral and priest in 1997.
She served as Curate at St German’s Church for several years and then on Saltash Team Ministry from 2006.
Before entering the Ministry she worked for the NHS for 31 years and became a senior specialist nurse for breast cancer services for Plymouth hospitals.
