Heartbroken children from a nursery are appealing to the public to help stop further vandal attacks on their premises. Staff at the Flying Start Day Nursery in Church Road, Saltash, say they are fearful of what they are going to find next after months of arriving at work to find the garden and building have been targeted overnight by vandals. 'It seems to have got worse over the last two or three weeks,' said Jenna Dark, head of the nursery school department. 'Whoever is responsible has been climbing over the fence into the garden where plants have been ripped up and damage caused to equipment. Apart from costing money to put right, it upsets the children when they see what has happened. 'We have contacted the police who are investigating but we are appealing to anyone who knows anything to inform the police,' said Jenna.
