A parish councillor has resigned and a community has been left frustrated after plans for a controversial 80m high wind turbine were given the go ahead.

Plans for the turbine to be built on land in an Area of Great Landscape Value near Pensilva were rejected last year by the former Caradon District Council.

But the scheme has now been given the green light after an appeal against the original refusal was upheld by The Planning Inspectorate.
