Looe actor Leon Ockenden (featured in the Cornish Times in February) stars in a steamy storyline in Coronation Street in the next few weeks.

His character Will, an old flame of Rovers Return landlady Michelle McDonald (played by Kym Marsh), is rumoured to be starting an affair with her while her husband Steve is away.

The actor has previous form in romantic storylines - having played PE teacher Hector Reid in BBC school drama Waterloo Road, where his character had an affair with a woman teacher colleague who was married to his best friend.

Leon has also starred as a Russian prince in ITV’s period department store drama Mr Selfridge.
