Springtime is in full bloom and at Cotehele, the National Trust Estate, the tulips in particular are proving to be a showstopper.

Last November, Cotehele’s garden staff and volunteers planted 1000 ‘Ballerina’ orange-flowering tulip bulbs in the terraces on the east side of the house. The tulips add to an exceptional display of daffodils and rhododendrons which are already in bloom in the garden.

If you’re visiting Cotehele, be aware that the bridge across the River Tamar at Gunnislake is currently closed for repairs and a diversion is in place.
