Tributes have been paid to a woman who died after falling overboard from a catamaran off the coast of Looe.

A major rescue operation was launched at 10.50am on Saturday after reports that a woman had fallen into the sea 2.5 miles from Looe.

Desperate attempts were made to try to revive 61-year-old Carol Wilson, from Kingsand, but she was pronounced dead at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth.
