TRIBUTES have been pouring in for a well-known Callington woman who has died in a car crash. Maureen Hindle, 65, was killed in a collision at the weekend on the A30 at Goss Moor. Her husband Graham is said to be making a good recovery after he was injured and airlifted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth. Maureen was a craftswoman, a member of Callington Singers, a Cornish speaker and a valued member of Stoke Climsland Church. She arranged flowers for the church, where husband Graham was a reader. The Rev Bill Stuart-White, priest at Stoke Climsland, said: 'Maureen was a very kind and lovely lady who was very gifted with flowers, arts and crafts. Both she and husband Graham have been part of our congregation for a long time. 'Everyone at the church is deeply shocked and saddened by her death. 'Our prayers and support are with the rest of the family.' Maureen worked as a secretary in the Callington office of Dawe, Hawken and Dodd Accountants for more then 26 years. She also worked on reception and dealt with customer accounts. Accountant Andrew Farr said: 'We are absolutely devastated to hear the news. It's a shock as she was a loyal and dedicated member of our staff and part of our team for 26 years. 'Maureen was a fantastic woman who will be hugely missed by all of us in the office. Our thoughts go out to her family during this difficult time.' Maureen was known for her beautiful voice said Callington Singers member Graham Williams. He said: 'She was a lovely lady, a delightful member of the choir and will be missed by everyone. 'She was an outstanding member of the group who took part in nearly all concerts and practices.' Maureen leaves her husband, two daughters, Rachel and Lindsey, and three grandchildren.
