MONEY raised from this August's Looe Trawler Race has been filtering through all summer, with a final total of around £2,300 being confirmed this week. A number of charities have since been presented with cheques for various amounts of money following requests for cash to buy equipment. St Martins Parish Church, Looe, Pelynt School Edible garden, Looe Darby and Joan Club, Looe Football Club, Barbican Pre-school and The Merlin Project have all benefited from funds raised by the Looe Trawler Race, and Looe Fisherman's Protection Association would like to thank all those involved for their hard work and commitment.
