Boconnoc Estate was the venue for the penultimate round of the Cornish Times-sponsored East Cornwall Harriers Primary Schools Cross Country League.
The fourth race out of five saw many familiar names in the top placings as runners fought it out in muddy conditions.
Selection for the East Cornwall Cross Country team gave an added incentive to run well and competition was again fierce for the few places available.
