A Liskeard woman is driving to work in style after winning a new car.

Tami Perree-Jones, 30, the lead receptionist at the Premier Inn in Liskeard, won the BMW Mini by topping a national sales incentive run by her employers. The Going for Gold scheme operated by Whitbread, which owns Premier Inn, was launched to encourage its employees to become involved in the sales process.

Tami was recognised as one of the top performers on the scheme in the past few months, generating thousands of pounds worth of business for the company and was rewarded with a new Mini.

She said: 'I was delighted to be awarded a new BMW Mini and totally shocked that someone from a small site such as Liskeard Premier Inn could be recognised in such a huge way.'
