Jacob Axworthy, from the Saltash group of the Southern Shotakan Karate Association, has recently gained his black belt in the sport. The 15-year-old has been training twice a week, in Tavistock and at Saltash Leisure Centre. He is pictured here with his instructor Stuart Cole, a sixth Dan in karate. The club meets at the Saltash Leisure Centre on Friday evenings from 7-8pm.
