Time is running out for parents in Cornwall to apply for secondary school places for their children.
The application deadline for places is October 31.
Cornwall Council is urging families to submit application forms by that date to give children the best possible chance of being placed at a preferred school.
Parents who miss the application deadline reduce their chances of getting one of their preferred schools because their forms will not be dealt with until after all the other applications have been processed.
Cornwall Council’s Education and Early Years Service is working with local schools and the Family Information Service to help guide all parents and carers through the application process. Its mission is to raise awareness and ensure that parents have information to hand to help them identify their preferred schools and apply before the deadline.
