GRAFFITI around the streets of Looe is becoming more noticeable, say Looe town councillors, who brought it to the attention of Neighbourhood Beat Officer PC Garth Hatt, when he attended their recent meeting. Cllr John Charnock said he believed there were only one or two children responsible for the offences, and it was springing up everywhere, especially around the public toilets. PC Hatt reported 26 crimes in the last six weeks prior to the meeting which included seven vehicle or related crimes, five assaults, five public order offences, five thefts other than from cars, four crimes including drink driving and cruelty to animals.
