IRISH pop band The Script have been confirmed for next year’s Eden Sessions – but Noel Gallagher won’t be returning to the Biomes.

It was announced last week that the Eden Sessions series planned for this year (2020) would not take place due to the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic but would be rescheduled for next year.

The Script had been due to play in front of the Eden Biomes in mid-July.

Now, they are the first act to be confirmed for next year and will perform at Eden on July 14, 2021.

Eden is contacting all existing ticket purchasers with details. Original tickets remain valid for The Script and any other show that is rescheduled.

Rita Broe, managing director of Eden Sessions Ltd, said: ’We’re thrilled to be able to announce The Script for the Eden Sessions 2021.

’We look forward to welcoming the band almost exactly a year on from the day they would have played for what we’re sure will be a massive highlight of the Sessions season.’

In a blow to fans, however, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds Eden Session has had to be cancelled.

The band had been due to play at Eden on June 23, and say they can’t confirm their availablity for the same time next year.

An automatic refund will be made to existing ticket-holders, says Eden Sessions Ltd.
