I would like to thank everyone for their generosity in sponsoring me in my first ever full marathon, the Cornish Marathon, which started and finished at Rilla Mill on 21 November. For the record, I completed the course in 4hr 14min.

The sum of £148 has been raised for the Primrose Appeal which is a charity raising money to build and equip a specialist breast cancer centre at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth.

I would also like to thank the organisers and marshalls of the marathon who did such a good job.
