A new Tesco store could be built in Saltash, making it the latest supermarket in the town.

Representatives from the retailing giant were due to present a plan to town councillors yesterday at the full council meeting.

It is thought that the superstore would be built on a site near the Lidl store, which is situated off Gilston Road.
