Cornwall Housing has launched the first Chair Awards for council tenants across Cornwall. The awards will promote the good work tenants do.

The categories in the Cornwall Housing Chair Awards are:

Best community support.

Best young person of the year

Best neighbour of the year.

Business start-up award.

The winner of each category will be invited to the Cornwall Housing Tenants Forum AGM in November to be presented with a certificate of recognition.

Chair of Cornwall Housing, Nick Ball said: ’These awards are about sharing the incredibly good work that our tenants do with the wider public, tirelessly working to improve their local communities for themselves and others.’
