Residents of Polperro have come together to keep their neighbourhood clean and tidy.

Around 30 people joined Cornwall Councillor Edwina Hannaford at Carey Park for the community litter pick and weeding session.

Armed with a tool trailer loaned by Cormac as well as tabards and bin bags from Clean Cornwall, the volunteers collected more than 30 bin bags of weeds, brambles and refuse.
