Classic sailing conditions in Looe Bay encouraged a rash of eager beavers among most of the fleets, as several crews crossed the starting line before the hooter, only to be called back by the eagle-eyed race officials.
In the Mirror class, the father and daughter crew of Brian and Lauren Bowdler covered the fleet in textbook style to take the day's top spot.
