Teacher and runner Oli Jones had a mini-adventure in the snow.
He said: ’I was taking the assembly at Pensilva Primary School at 2.45pm-3.10pm and it was just sleet outside. By the time we dismissed the children at 3.15pm, it was snowing and within 10 minutes the ground was white.
’I left at 3.30pm to go to St Cleer and within half-a-mile in Pensilva I realised I couldn’t get up the main road. I parked up and decided to run to St Cleer as I had my running gear in the car. It was the best decision as cars were beginning to get stuck.
’Along the route near Darite and Tremar drivers were making the decision not to carry on and leave their cars.
’When I got to St Cleer the roads were dangerous for vehicles. From there, I walked along the bridleway back home.’
