A “DAILY Walks Princess” who has brought smiles to South East Cornwall throughout the pandemic is gearing up for one last lockdown fundraiser.
Teacher Becky Drury is known as Cornwall Belle since she began doing her daily exercise dressed as Princess Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
Becky has also contributed to raising £60,000 for the NHS Charities Together Fund.
“During this lockdown I am raising money for Papyrus, a charity that helps prevent young suicide, which unfortunately has risen since lockdown began,” she said.
“I have currently helped raise over £10,000 for this charity in partnership with the Stockport Spidermen team.
“With lockdown still here, I am doing one last auction. Previous auctions raised £400 and £700, and I hope to hit £1,000 with this one.”
The details of Becky’s auction, which is set to take place on Saturday (February 27), can be found on the Princess Daily Walks Facebook page.
Becky is inviting people to make short video messages of support for her appeal and Papyrus, and hopes that people will share details of the auction with friends and family.
