An illustrated talk on cholera in the 1800s will be given by Bernard Deacon in the Long Room at the Public Hall in Liskeard on Wednesday at 10.30am. Mr Deacon, author of Liskeard and its People, will look at the impact of cholera and its implications for the people of Liskeard, Cornwall, and Britain. The talk will complement the Out from Under a Cloud exhibition illustrating health advances in the town which is running at Liskeard and District Museum until October 23.
