Texaco who are shortly to become the new owners of the Esso Garage in Station Road, East Looe, are to be asked to refrain from selling food from their premises late at night.
A petition signed by over 100 nearby residents says the facilities at the garage for the heating of take away food by microwave from a kiosk, is encouraging the gathering of large numbers of noisy youths, who are causing disturbances. They want the facilities haulted between 12 midnight and 5am.
Town councillors voiced their sympathies with residents in the area at their Monday night meeting.
