A Summer concert is to be held at Downderry and Seaton Village Hall this evening (August 23) at 7pm (doors open at 6.30pm).

Entitled ‘A Miscellany of Poetry and Drama’, it features The Deviock Community Band with Mike Hartland, Cecil Duvalle’s music students, parishioners of Sclerder Abbey and many more.

Ann Elford has put the show together to raise funds for the Cornwall Air Ambulance and Downderry and Seaton Village Hall and Community Bus.  

Tickets can be obtained from The Swan Cafe, Downderry Shop, The Barbican Post Office and on the door.  

Cecil Duvalle has obtained the loan of a piano from Pinkham Pianos of Stoke Climsland which will be used by his music students.
