The 2016 Cornwall Summer Bear Fair has a new home ar The Exhibition Hall, Kingsley Village Fraddon on June 19.

This is the 23rd Cornwall Bear Fair to be held and has moved because of ongoing work to its former home in Lostwithiel.

The event will feature up to 50 stands with hundreds of teddy bears; ranging from vintage and traditional to artist and designer bears. Local specialist bear shops Urchins Bears, Kingswear Bears and Apple Pie House will have stocks of new international trademark bears.

A large selection of vintage and collectable bears will once again be available from exhibitors, who also offer free valuations for bears brought along on the day. Restoration advice is also available from ‘The Teddy Bear Hospital’.

Once again the fair will host a competition for ’The Best Summer Bear’, open to all. The winner will receive an engraved silver trophy and a bottle of champagne.

The event will feature and support two charity stands: Cornwall Hospice Care and Animals Asia, who are devoted to ending animal cruelty and improving animal welfare.
