THREE students from Cornwall College, Saltash, have put their expertise to good use and produced a website for near-by Churchtown Farm Community Nature Reserve. The students, Matt Cornish, Ryan Squires and Craig Bennett, studying on the IT Practitioner National Diploma course at the College, designed the site last term. The site has just gone on-line and provides information on the Reserve, an interactive notice board, pictures and games for children. Matt Cornish said: 'This has been a really good experience for us. We can also use the website in our portfolios in the future.' The project was set up to provide the students with a 'real life' project, providing experience for the job market. Churchtown Farm Community Nature Reserve is managed by the Cornwall Wildlife Trust with the intention of involving local people in all areas of its life. 'This project is a great demonstration of what we can achieve by working with local people, I hope we've all gained something from this,' said Sean O'Hea, Cornwall Wildlife Trust's Community Project Officer. The website is hosted on the Cornwall Wildlife Trust website, and can be found by following the links from: http://www.cornwallwildlifetrust">www.cornwallwildlifetrust. org.uk/involved/churchtown.htm.
