Dobwalls continued their good form with an impressive home win over Biscovey. Opting to play against a strong wind in the first half, the home sides passing football created chance after chance and but for poor finishing would have been 4-0 up in the first 10 minutes. Matt Lindsay opened the scoring with a good finish from a tight angle.
Lindsay soon following up another goal before Adam Nance chipped the Biscovey keeper from some 20 yards after he had rushed out from goal to thwart a previous attack. Meanwhile Biscovey pulled one back when a well struck shot was carried by the wind over the home keeper and into the net. Dobwalls reply was to score two more goals, both from Lindsay including a near post header from a Shane Ruark cross from the left. An unlucky deflection gave Biscovey their second a half time scoreline of 5-2.
The second half saw Dobwalls playing with the wind and continuing to dominated the game creating a string of goalscoring opportunities. Lindsay notched his fifth goal of the game after a goalmouth scramble to put Dobwalls 6-2 to the good. Goal number seven followed when Ruarks powerful shot was parried into the path of sub Gordon Niner who finished at the far post. A solo effort from Lewis Freeman who running from deep battled through numerous challenges to slot the ball wide of the advancing keeper, made it 8-2.
Biscovey salvaged some pride with two later goals but by then the game had already been won. Man of the Match was given to Mark Dustin.
