Determined Liskeard bounced back from Saturday's heart wrenching defeat against Porthleven with a tremendous point from a 1-1 draw at St Blazey on Tuesday.

The reigning champions enjoyed good possession but superbly marshalled by Paul Sowden Liskeard remained solid.

With five minutes left it was the visitors who broke the deadlock when a long ball out of defence found Mark Skerton and he took it on to beat Dave Philp.

But two minutes later Saints salvaged a point thanks to former Blues defender Nigel Pugh who headed in Mark Rowe's precision centre.
