LAST week's bad weather has taken its toll on this week's schedule of league fixtures. With most of last week's Cornwall Senior Cup matches being called off, only four of tomorrow's scheduled league fixtures remain because the Senior Cup first round ties take precedence. Liskeard Athletic's long spell without a game might see them ring rusty for the visit to Callington Town. The Blues' form away from Lux Park has been better than their home form, though their squad for tomorrow's game will depend on first team call-ups. St Cleer's indifferent home form shouldn't have any bearing on their game against visitors Bude Town, who currently occupy bottom position in the table. In the Cornwall Senior Cup, Bude Town took a 5-1 beating at Hayle, whereas St Stephen defied the odds to win 4-3 at Helston Athletic, to become the ECPL's first club into the second round. Among the rescheduled ties tomorrow, Biscovey, already holding a 3-1 league victory at Camelford, will expect the Camels to be much tougher opposition this time round. Current league form goes out of the window when Foxhole and Nanpean Rovers meet, but a home win should still be the only real outcome. Probus are at home to Mullion, Sticker travel to St Agnes while Roche are at Wendron, all with realistic chances of progressing to the second round.
