August turned out to be another good month for Liskeard and District SAC with 24 fish registered, 13 from the boat and 11 shore entries.
Four black bream earned league points and one specimen weighing 3lb 5oz 10dm (111.7%) gained Andrew Drysdale the boat fish of the month award. The shore award goes to Chris Phillips for his 97.8% garfish (1lb 7oz 7dm) caught on the first day of the month.
Competition leaders - shore league -A Drysdale 18 pts; R Wyatt 11; G Stroud six; K Morris and C Phillips five. Boat - C Stone 10; A Drysdale nine; C Phillips seven.
