Dobwalls 13
St Teath 0
Premier League pacesetters Dobwalls fixed one hand firmly on the title with this emphatic win over bottom club St Teath.
Callington can draw level if they win all their remaining games and Dobwalls lose their remaining six matches, but the Lantoom Park side have such a superior goal difference and have still to play their nearest rivals.
Martin Polatch opened the scoring after seven minutes with a cheeky back header. Andy Sheer made it two after a well worked move. A Scott Brown effort was deflected in by Jim Moynan after 20 minutes to extend the lead.
St Teath held out until five minutes before the break when Rob Cole threaded a superb pass in behind the defence for Polatch to fire home. Cole himself made it five just before the break.
Just after the restart a fluent move saw Richard Hill take his chance at the far post for number six.
Twenty minutes later Cole made it seven. A Glenn Toms volley from the edge of the box made it eight and Martin Polatch completed his hat-trick with 20 minutes remaining.
Andy Sheer charge down a poor attempted clearance to calmly slot past the advancing keeper.
A further three goals in the last ten minutes completed the rout.
The first was the goal of the match. Gordon Moxham's 30 yard volley smacked into the roof of the net, sparking a display of break dancing from the jubilant defender who had just scored his first of the season.
Glen Toms and Rob Cole scored further goals before the end, the latter to complete his hat-trick.
Former Dobwalls keeper Karl Roberts had a fine game despite the score. If he had not made a string of crucial saves the scores could have been far greater.
Alex Lindsay won the man of the match award for a gritty display in midfield. The team were sponsored by Baco Metal Centres.

Dobwalls 3
THE home side, hovering just above the relegation zone, played far better then their league position indicates.
In the first half, with the breeze at their backs and with the advantage of the slope, they had the better of the chances.
David Parsons saved a penalty from Jason Gregory and then made a fine acrobatic stop to keep the scored level at the break.
Just after the restart of the second half, Richard Hill hit a ball across the danger area to find Martin Polatch, who ghosted in at the post to head home.
Both sides created a number of half chances but the scores remained the same until 15 minutes before the end. Dobwalls threw on fresh legs and two of the three substitutes made telling contributions.
Scott Brown doubled the title favourites advantage with a sweet low drive from the edge of the penalty area that found the target.
A minute later Rob Cole fired in a fierce drive which striker Colin Barrett turned into the net to complete the scoring.
The game was closer than the score suggests, but Dobwalls quality shone through to keep them on track for the title.
The man of the match award went to Daniel Parsons for an outstanding display between the sticks.
His vital saves kept Dobwalls in the game in the first half and his confident manner gives the defence a sense of security when put under pressure.
Dobwalls are sponsored by Baco Metal Centres.
Launceston Cup
Launceston 0
Dobwalls 2
DOBWALLS travelled to Launceston with several players missing due to injury and other commitments.
The visitors got off to a great start when Fran Cater opened the scoring with a curling free kick that he bent around the wall and in to the top corner of the net.
There were a number of rash challenges by the home side, one of which saw Glen Toms carried from the pitch with a gash and stud marks down the inside of his leg.
In the second half Alec Lindsay hobbled off nursing a damaged ankle. Just after the hour mark Cater was again on target with a well hit strike from outside the box to double Dobwalls advantage.
The visitors remained in control until the end to move into yet another semi final.
Everybody did their job although there was a lot of tired legs at the end which is hardly surprising as this was Dobwalls fifth game in eight days.
Mark Fielder was outstanding in the heart of the impressive back four and thoroughly deserved the man of the match award.
Duchy One
Southgate 1
Gunnislake 1
Both sides gained a hard earned point as a strong mid-table Southgate side equalled their promotion challenging opponents in all departments.
Southgate took the lead on 15 minutes. Five minutes later Andy Wood saved a penalty to ensure his team did not fall further behind.
The visitors equalised on the half hour when Joe Pulley's quickly taken corner fell to Steve Gaggini to find the top corner with a well controlled half-volley finish.
Both sides searched for goals in the second half with neither team settling for a draw.
However, on a hard and uneven surface attackers found it difficult to create good scoring opportunities.
St Mawgan 1
Gunnislake 0
PLAYING their second game in three days, third placed Gunnislake needed a win against the team one place above them in the league.
However, with a number of players unavailable, including captain Simon Wakeham who was in London running the marathon the next day, the visitors travelled with just 11 players.
In the 11 was Carl Waters playing for the first time in men's football.
Gunnislake's cause was also not helped by the fact that three of their back four were also carrying injuries which meant that they were each far from 100 per cent fit.
Despite all of this the side showed tremendous character and spirit and nearly achieved what would have been a deserved point as the only goal came just four minutes before the end from a mishit shot.
With only two teams guaranteed promotion Gunnislake's chances of automatic promotion are now very slim.
But they will endeavour to give themselves a chance by winning their final three fixtures, the first of which is at home this Saturday when Newmoor visit for a 2.30 kick off.
Newmoor 3
Gunnislake 4
WITH the wind behind them Gunnislake had the better of the opening half.
Paul Tomkies opened the scoring after ten minutes with a well executed shot to give the visitors the lead.
Soon afterwards Tomkies volleyed a Chris Adams cross just over the bar before the striker had a shot well saved be the home keeper.
A second good save stopped a Neil Kinger header finding the bottom corner.
After ten minutes of the second half Newmoor was reduced to ten men.
Gunnislake missed an excellent opportunity to score when a centre across the six yard line went over the heads of three attackers. Newmoor cleared their lines and broke forward to equalise. Minutes later the home side took advantage of uncertainty in the Gunnislake defence to take the lead.
Gunnislake equalised through Matt Avery, who finished well having been found by an unselfish Steve Gaggini pass.
However, Newmoor regained the lead after 75 minutes with a well struck 20 yard shot after a corner was only partially cleared.
Needing a win Gunnislake pushed forward and mounted concerted pressure on the Newmoor goal.
On 85 minutes the equaliser came when Avery volleyed home after a goalmouth scramble.
Two minutes later a Tomkies centre was turned in to the goal by Mark Warwick for the fourth and winning goal.

Pensilva Reserves 4
North Hill 5
North Hill took the lead midway through the first half when Roy Quelch crossed a beautiful ball from the right wing for Mark Taylor to head in.
This was repeated in the second half when Skewes crossed for Adam Cears to head home for Pensilva, two goals you would not see bettered anywhere.
North Hill then went on to add further goals from Spud Davey, Phil Lucas, Stan Smith and Taylor.
Pensilva kept battling and in between the visitors goals scored further goals through Cears 2 and Jimmy Miles.
Torpoint Athletics 2
North Hill 3
NORTH Hill had Phil Lucas again operating as a striker and causing havoc in the Torpoint defence.
He gave North Hill the lead from a Mark Horwell through ball only for Torpoint to equalise two minutes later from Mike Parker.
This gave the home side some added confidence but the speedy Steve Howells gave North Hill the lead with a typical striker's goal.
In the second half North Hill went 3-1 up when again the Horwell-Lucas combination gave Lucas the chance to score his second but Torpoint came back to make it 3-2 when Sean Reeve scored.
North Hill had keeper Leo McDonald to thank when he made probably the save of the season to keep out a Reeve blockbuster.

League Cup
semi-final, second leg
Callington Res 2 Maker/Rame 1
Trailing 4-2 from the first leg, Callington suffered a set back losing two of their regular forwards, due to other commitments.
They made their task more difficult by conceding a first half goal through sloppy defending, which meant they had to score three goals to win the tie in the second half.
The half time team talk hit the right buttons
Because the second half almost blew Maker away as Callington, set up attack after attack, scoring through Hartley and Holloway. They also hit the crossbar and post but could not get the all important third goal.
It's not fair to single out any one player after such a magnificent team performance but keeper Paul Fletcher today kept his side in the game with some outstanding saves as Callington pushed forward, leaving him to deal with Maker's forwards on his own.

St Mawgan 2
St Dennis were hosts for this last-four contest between the Premier League leaders and their Division opponents.
St Mawgan took the lead when a shot-cum-cross found the far corner of the net.
The scores were level when Martin Polatch was upended in the penalty area.
Fran Carter blasted the spot kick into the roof of the net.
Polatch gave Dobwalls the lead on the half hour, which settled the side and allowed them to start to play some good football.
St Mawgan levelled when a through was misjudged by the keeper, his half clearance being fired home from the edge of the box.
Just before the break Fran Carter's well hit free kick found the target to restore the lead.
Soon after the restart Colin Barrett gave Dobwalls a two-goal cushion and although the Premier leaders createda number of other chances they failed to find the target.
Polatch and Barrett were foiled on a couple of occasions by good saves by the St Mawgan keeper to keep the scoreline looking respectable. St Mawgan hustled the Premier League big boys but could not stop their illustrious opponents going through to their second cup final in as many weeks.
The man of the match award was shared between Gordon Moxham and Colin Barrett.
Dobwalls were sponsored by Barco Metyal Centres and the Highwayman at Dobwalls.
DOBWALLS have a busy week ahead with trips to Boscastle tomorrow (Sat, 2.30pm) and St Stephens on Tuesday (6.30pm), while they entertain Callington on Thursday (6.30pm).
One more point for Dobwalls will secure the Premier League championship.
