Newly promoted Victoria Vikings enjoyed their second successive victory in a closely fought 3-2 home win over the Fountain Ringers. The match was tied after four games through George Pengelly, Mark Fielder, Gavin Cole and Darren Worden with Mike Rendle defeating Dave Stevens on the black in the final frame to clinch the match. Mike Rendle also sank an eight-ball clearance.

Ship A gained a 3-2 home win over Bullers Arms A to go joint second in the table. The match winners were Steve Bolitho, Chris Langmaid, Lee Stapleton, Richard Ivey and James Stephens.

Dobsons A clinched a 3-2 away win over Barley A thanks to Ian Penhaligan, who took the deciding match. The other winners were Jon Pollard, Sean Frayling, Rob Allen and Phil Punter.

Runabout Shield - Victoria Vikings.

White Horse Snakes remain at the top of Section B despite being defeated 4-1 by stablemates White Horse Warriors. The Snakes started well with a win from Mark Wilton but lost the remaining games to Tony 'The Judge' Rogers, Nick Parks, Russ Hemmings, who sank an eight-baller, and Richard Pearce.

Porters B enjoyed continued success with a closely fought 3-2 victory over visitors Stag A. The match was tied through Gavin Peacock, Carl Duffy, Kelvin Fagg and Dave Jackson before Martin Coe took the deciding game with a 2-1 win over Dan Jordan.

The Railroaders had a good 3-2 home win over Highwayman A where the matchwinners were Bernie Hardy, Graham Grubb, Mike Parsons, Andy Morrish and Bob Rogers.

Barley B gained a 3-2 away win over Highwayman B thanks to Chris Tabsley, Mark Usher and Kevin Gatton. Andy Cole and Paddy Sleep replied.

Runabout Shield - Porters B.

Three section C teams share the lead after the second week, all remaining undefeated.

The Stag Knights enjoyed a 3-2 win over stablemates the Stag Hunters thanks to John Robbins, Dale Price and Mark Brady. Jon Crinks and Mike Scott replied for the Hunters.

Great Trethew had a good 4-1 home win over the Victoria Vixens with wins from Dave and Anya Kessell, Phil Banks and Mickey Peacock with Sue Palmer the point scorer for the Vixens.

Dobsons B gained a 3-2 home win over the Sports Club where the winners in order were Wayne Hutchings, Daniel Gilbert, Martin Ayres, Barry Jefferies and Nick Knapman.

Butchers Arms A enjoyed their first victory of the season with a 3-2 win over Dobsons C where the winners were Joe Chatting, Lawrence Jones, Ken Crowle, Tony Walton and Alan Walker, who took the decider.
