Not only does Peter Elliott's 92 pins score take over the leading men's highest score spot, but gave his team, Hillsecs, six much-needed points to end a dismal performance of late and showed a 64 pin majority over those Golden Girls who were unable to match the Hillsecs 280 pin total on this occasion.

The Middlers also jump one place with their 6-0 victory over the Rascals but only one pin separated the two teams at the half-way point,

The Potholers, minus Captain Gerry Edwards, trailed by just four pins at the half-way stage in their match against the Bodmin Landers, but they showed their opponents who was the better of the two teams in the second half to collect all six points and improve their tally at the top of the table.

Despite a close 4-2 win over the Gremlins, the Quarriers drop from sixth to eighth place in the table. There was a very close finish in the game with just two pins splitting the totals.

The Tigers, challenging for the top spot, trailed by two pins to the Galaxy after four legs of skittling but turned out the improved team of four in the remaining four legs to gain a 4-2 point win by six pins and now are nine points behind the leaders.
