Division One - Hits and Misses and Bulldogs both recorded maximum Division One wins, so positions at the top have not changed. The leaders obtained their six points from the Edwardians at the Liskeard Bowling club where 33 pins was the overall majority.
At the British Legion it was a similar story, as the visiting Bulldogs collected all six points at stake with a 32 pin majority over the Legion Misfits.
Results - Edwardians 483 pins (232 + 251) 0 pts - Margaret and Gerry Edwards, 65 pins. Hits and Misses 516 pins (246 + 270) 6 pts - Gary Randall, 69 pins.

Division Two - Change at the top
As forecast last week the Division Two leadership has changed as the Crickets on their home alley at Callington Cricket Club scored a convincing maximum win over the Sandpipers. Forty-seven pins was the difference in the score sheet at the end of the game. At Duloe in the local derby the Terriers took on the Marquees, but were trailing by 53 pins at half-time, however the score line went in reverse for the remaining four legs and with Ian Vowler's 90 pin total, which included a 22 spare, rescued two points showing an eight-pin overall majority for the Marquees to earn them four points.
A much closer affair at Callington Social Club showed the home side, Woodentops, seven pins to the good at half-time, however the visiting Ditchers did rescue two second half points to fail by three solitary pins ending in a 4-2 pin victory for the home side. Further down the table the Seccombes, although trailing by three pins to the Marketeers, turned out the better side to end up 4-2 point winners by four pins, thus retarding the Marketeers challenge for the promotion race.
Bottom place Legionaires looked to be in for a thrashing at the British Legion as the visiting Oddballs were 21 pins to the good after four legs, however a complete reversal in scoring in the second half saw the Legionaires account for 272 pins to end the evening 4-2 point worthy winners.
Results - Crickets 494 pins (238 + 256) 6 pts - Mark Rookley, 69 pins. Sandpipers 447 pins (221 + 226) 0 pts - Alex Joyce, 64 pins.
Terriers 540 pins (247 + 293) 2 pts - Ian Vowler, 90 pins. Marquees 548 pins (290 + 258) 4 pts - John Massey, 88 pins.

Legionaires 506 pins (234 + 272) 4 pts - Rob Pacey, 74 pins. Oddballs 483 pins (255 + 228) 2 pts - Brian Whitechair, 70 pins.
Division Four - Hobos or Four x 4's?
The Hobos and the Four x 4s are now neck and neck in the race for the Division Three championship. With just two games to play both have equal points although Clementines did put up a spirited first half performance just missing out by two pins to salvage any points.
Four x 4's were trailing at half-time in their local derby game versus the Tri-Ards at Treburley, but they were the improved side in the second half to end up eventual 4-2 point winners and joint top place.
Rally got the better of both halves and collected six points and a 69 pin majority over the Growlers at Treburley which keeps them in contention for the promotion positions.
The Madhatters entertained the Demons at home, but must feel disappointed with the end result as they found the visitors in a better scoring mood, taking all six points at stake and showing up their chances of promotion, but they have three games to play!
Results - Clementines 484 pins (249 + 225) 0 pts - Pat Fitzpatrick, 82 pins. Hobos 516 pins (261 + 255) 6 pts - Philip Hunt, 78 pins.
Tri-Ards 466 pins (246 + 220) 2 pts - Horace Parnell, 66 pins. Four x 4's 485 pins (238 + 247) 4 pts - Dave Pritchard, 75 pins.
Growlers 440 pins (224 + 216) 0 pts - Pat Parnell, 62 pins. Rally 509 pins (266 + 243) 6 pts - Terry Bray, 69 pins.
Madhatters 477 pins (236 + 241) 0 pts - Mike Orchard and Philip Stokes, 65 pins. Demons 494 pins (251 + 243) 6 pts - Jo Elliott, 68 pins.
Division Three - Millers almost there!
Three games to be played and the Millers look odd's-on favourites for Division Three title and Division Three skittling next season. Last week they managed to reinforce their position at the top, with a fine 6-0 point victory over the Linedancers, ending up the better by 32 pins. Second and third place teams Flyers and Circles met at the Church House Inn where a promotion battle was fought.
At half-time Flyers led by 16 pins. In the second half Circles tried their hardest to collect points, but failed by another eight pins to show an overall majority of 24 pins to the Flyers, giving them six points and a second place with higher total pinfall.
At the Barley Sheaf the home side, Thrashers, were in excellent form and accounted for a high 544 pins, where their opponents the Ramblers, also new to skittles this season, did come close in the second half missing out by one pin. Nonetheless Thrasher reaped all six points. The Ladybirds were out of luck once again when at their home alley at Liskeard Sports club they found the Victorians, their opponents from Roche in a much better scoring mood who ended up with a 44 pin majority and all six points.
Results - Millers 485 pins (239 + 246) 6 pts - Terry Naylor and Ken Couchman, 68 pins. Linedancers 453 pins (229 + 224) 0 pts - Chris Brown and Nick Anderson, 67 pins.
Flyers 505 pins (257 + 248) 6 pts - Ian Lyndsay, 73 pins. Circles 481 pins (241 + 240) 0 pts - Joe Chatting, 68 pins.
Thrashers 544 pins (289 + 255) 6 pts - Jon Anderson, 88 pins. Ramblers 507 pins (253 + 254) 0 pts - Russ Hanson, 77 pins.
Ladybirds 458 pins (226 + 232) 0 pts - Pat Parsons, 68 pins. Victorians 502 pins (249 + 253) 6 pts - Graham Freeman and Mike Waller, 68 pins.
