Division One

With 30 points out of a possible 36 points puts the Hits & Misses in top spot. The six points last week came along quite easily at Dobsons Club where Cast-Offs were their victims.

Rebels did the damage to Callington at Pensilva with a fine 4-2 win where 19 pins was the difference in total pinfall.

In a bottom of the division clash the Edwardians, playing at home at the Liskeard Bowling Club, found some form at last to easily overhaul the Barley Oats, who are finding Division One games hard work.

High riding Hotshots and the Bulldogs met at the B.Legion alley where both teams were unable to produce big scores to show a 4-2 win for the visiting Bulldogs.

The Londoners travelled to the Jets alley at Millendreath but failed to secure any points allowing the home side to jump to third place with all the six points.

Division Two

Ditchers, relegated from Div. One last season, look determined to return there next season as in their top of the table clash at Callington Cricket Club they got the better of those high-riding Crickets, winning 6-0, despite a late challenge in the second period by the home side.

Ditchers main contribution was by Harry Thurston (91), missing out by four pins to join the top scorer this season.

The Terriers, at home at Duloe, produced higher pinfall in both halves over the visiting Sandpipers, taking all six points easily and stay in a challenging position for top spot.

Burley Booties trailed by six pins at half-time but proved to be the better team for the remainder of the game at home to Oddballs registering a useful 4-2 point win.

Woodentops held a 20 pin lead and looked set for a maximum win over their visitors to Callington Social Club, the Marketeers. The scoring was completely reversed in the final four legs for the latter to romp home 4-2 winners by four pins.

Division Three

All six points came the Tri-Ards way at Treburley in a close game versus the Rally eight (who were the team that inflicted the leaders first defeat) and now sit in a more comfortable position in the Division Three table.

Meanwhile, the leaders Four X Fours, carry on their winning ways (after that upset by Rally) where the Hobos disappointed on the night playing at home, unable to rescue any points but held on to second spot.

The Clementines, needing points badly, missed out by one pin after four legs of skittling at Roche Victory Hall but the visiting Madhatters were the much improved team to return home with all six points.

Struggling at the bottom of this division, the Demons were unable to match their hosts, the Foxes, at the Snooty Fox, who went to ground with all six points with their 39 pin overall advantage.

Holding third spot are the Nomads from Bodmin, who got the better of the Growlers at Treburley Club, showing a 40 pin majority and adding six lovely points to their total.

Division Four

The Linedancers produced a good formation when they visited the Barley Sheaf and got the better of the Thrashers, taking all six points to put them up to fourth spot.

The Circles stay in a comfortable position following their easy maximum win over the Ladybirds, who will probabl wish to forget their teams overall performance as they could only account for a low 417 pins between them at Liskeard Sports Club.

The Millers just held on to top spot with their first half points at Pensilva allowing the Victorians, from Roche, to gain the remaining four points just getting the better total by six pins.

It looked like six points going the Breakaways way at Callington Social Club as they held an 18 point advantae over the Socialites at half time, but saw the home side rescue two points with a second half one pin majority resulting in a 4-2 victory for the visitors.
