Under-fives enlisted lots of help to stage a supermarket sausage sizzle.
The sizzle, at Tesco in Callington, was in aid of Landulph Under Fives Pre-school, which is hoping to raise £1,000 for books and tablets.
Chair Lisa Hughes said: ‘Sausage sizzles were always really popular when I lived in Australia, so it seemed like a fun way to raise funds for the Under Fives.’
Helpers from the pre-school cooked hot dogs on the barbecue for the public on a sunny Saturday morning.
Tesco community champion Alan Woollcombe said: ‘The sausage sizzle was a massive hit with our customers, and well done to the Under Fives for coming up with it.’
Organiser Sammie Coryton thanked Tesco for its support, adding: ‘The customers were very generous, and many who did not want a hot dog, popped some money in the pot anyway.’
