Two sisters who violently attacked each other after a night out have been bound over the keep the peace towards each other by magistrates in Bodmin. Sharon Gibbs, 24 of Poldhu Road, Liskeard and Melinda Nicholls, 34, of Twelvewoods Place, Dobwalls, agreed to be bound over for 12 months in the sum of £500 each on condition they do not use aggressive behaviour or bad language towards each other. The prosecution withdrew charges of assault against the pair. The court heard that following a night out in Lostwithiel the sisters had argued on their way back to Nicholls' home in Dobwalls and had a 'ferocious' fight when they arrived which involved biting, scratching gouging and ripping out clumps of hair.
