THERE was singing and dancing on the beach as a pop-up cinema came to East Looe.

Around 200 people brought deckchairs and blankets for a late-night showing of the hit musical Mamma Mia.

The screening was staged by Pop Up Events with support from the East Looe Town Trust and Looe Town Council.

Resident Diana Bath was there, and said: ‘It was brilliant - at the end people were getting up dancing and singing.

‘I shall definitely go again if they put another one on.’
