Merrymeet farming couple Nigel and Liz Bunkum enjoyed success at the annual Liskeard Primestock Show yesterday.

They won four of the classes in the cattle section including Best Steer or Heifer bred and fed by an exhibitor within the Old Caradon District Council Boundary. Champion Beast of Show went to Lewis Cook with Nicky and Reserve Champion was Nigel Jenkinson with Miss Ann Gus.

This year's annual show proved popular with entry numbers up in most sections.

It is one of the highlights of the Liskeard farming community's calendar. There was also a chance for people to view the entries for the domestic section.
