My name is Doreen Stoot, and I am the daughter of Wilfred Gilmour Stoot, who was born in Truro, Cornwall, in 1898, came to Canada in 1920. He died in Toronto in 1958.

In the past year I have gathered information about the family, and quite a lot about my own branch, and 5 or 6 others. However, with a few exceptions I know very little about "Stoots" who are alive today.
